Manheim Central and Warwick are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Barons will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Manheim Central is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Garden Spot on Friday. The Barons took a 31-14 bruising from the Spartans. While the Barons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 7-0 in the first quarter.

Logan Kappel put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 69 yards and one score, and also threw for 174 yards and one TD. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.

Even if they lost, Manheim Central's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Cody Hess was the leader with two.

Meanwhile, Warwick unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Oxford.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Manheim Central, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-4.

Manheim Central couldn't quite finish off Warwick in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 6-3. Thankfully for the Barons, Reece Harper (who rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
