Soccer Game Preview: Glencliff vs. Stem Preparatory Academy

The Glencliff Colts will take on the Stem Preparatory Academy Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glencliff has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Stem Preparatory Academy will come in with three straight wins.

Glencliff fell victim to Hunters Lane and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Warriors. Considering the last time Glencliff couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Their offense was hitting East Nashville Magnet from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Martin Pita Rios led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5-2.
