Baseball Recap: Gray Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Gray Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gilbert Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

Gray Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Gilbert, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Gray Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Augusta Christian on the 26th. As for Gilbert, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Camden on the 28th.
