Wednesday just wasn't the day for Elk Grove's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Sheldon Huskies on Wednesday. The Thundering Herd's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Elk Grove's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-7. As for Sheldon, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season.
