Softball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley lost to Hoover back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 13-4 to the Vikings. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKinley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Coming up, McKinley will take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoover, they will square off against Field at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
