Basketball Recap: Alpena Comes Up Short

After flying high against St.Ignace last Friday, Alpena came back down to earth. The Alpena Wildcats fell just short of the Glenn Bobcats by a score of 54-51 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since February 2nd.

Alpena's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Glenn, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alpena will venture away from home to square off against Gaylord at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they will square off against Swan Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
