Basketball Recap: Redfield Takes a Loss

Redfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Groton Tigers 86-11. The Pheasants lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 70-17 score last time.

Redfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Groton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Redfield will venture away from home to square off against Langford at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Langford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Groton, they will host Warner at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
