The Houma Christian Warriors will challenge the Parkview Baptist Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Houma Christian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Loreauville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. Houma Christian blew past Loreauville 12-6 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Addison Boudreaux, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Arnaud, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Houma Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Parkview Baptist came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by an 18-3 margin over the Cubs.
Jalayah Slaughter made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, Ava Landry was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Lindsay, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Houma Christian's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6. As for Parkview Baptist, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Houma Christian hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Parkview Baptist struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs.
