Baseball Recap: Anderson Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Anderson Prep Academy had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-8 to make it five. They came up short against the Bethesda Christian Patriots, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Jets were not able to get on the board.

As for Bethesda Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

For Bethesda Christian's part, they got a massive performance out of Edison Daniels, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Daniels has become a key player for the Patriots: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Benaiah Campbell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Anderson Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-2 defeat against Eastern Hancock on the 30th. As for Bethesda Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-3 victory against Liberty Christian on the 1st.
