Cypress extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 19-9 in the process. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pacifica Mariners a 1-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The result came thanks to Delaney 'D.J.' Faus's shutout, as she gave up just eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cypress' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Naya Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Pacifica, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-11. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

On Pacifica's side, Ellena Ediss spent all 8.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.

At the plate, Mattea Stern was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

As of now, neither Cypress nor Pacifica have any future games scheduled.
