Soccer Recap: Cathedral Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cathedral can now relate to. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lawrence North Wildcats who were credited with the win on Wednesday. The Lawrence North Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Cathedral Fighting Irish's four. If Cathedral were looking for revenge after losing 1-1 to Lawrence North when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Karol Molina-Gomez wasn't going to let Lawrence North walk away unscathed as he scored both of Cathedral's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.
