Volleyball Recap: Muscatine Comes Up Short

Muscatine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Valley Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Muskies of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Muscatine now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Muscatine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hempstead on the 13th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Linn-Mar on the 13th.
