Basketball Recap: Archbishop Hoban Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Archbishop Hoban won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Archbishop Hoban Knights took their match with ease, bagging a 73-36 win over East. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Archbishop Hoban was led to victory by Sam Greer and Kenny Scott. Greer went 9-for-12 to rack up 20 points in addition to five rebounds and five blocks, while Scott almost dropped a triple-double with nine points, nine assists, and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Scott a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was James Mccarthy, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points.

Archbishop Hoban smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Archbishop Hoban's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5.
