Coweta won the last time they faced Midwest City and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Bombers 5-4.

Mason Iott tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alex Crawford, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Coweta's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Midwest City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Coweta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bombers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
