Basketball Recap: New Diana's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

New Diana had lost three straight headed into Thursday's game, but Starrmia Dixon didn't let it get to four. The New Diana Eagles put the hurt on the Mildred Eagles with a sharp 53-32 win on Thursday thanks in part to Dixon, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January.

New Diana now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Mildred, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Prestonwood Christian North the next time they take the court. New Diana will head out to face Prestonwood Christian North at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Mildred will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
