Volleyball Recap: Animo Pat Brown's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Animo Bunche, Animo Pat Brown was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Esperanza College Prep Guerreros. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gryphons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Animo Pat Brown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-10.

Animo Pat Brown's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Esperanza College Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Animo Pat Brown will be playing at home against Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Esperanza College Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East College Prep at 3:30 p.m. on the 26th.
