Alexander has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 13. They lost 8-0 to the Byron-Bergen Bees on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Alexander can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Byron-Bergen are ranked 50th).

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Byron-Bergen, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
