If Charleroi wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Waynesburg Central, they should've done a better job of containing Lelia McCollum. The Raiders put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from McCollum, who had 12 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Waynesburg Central never let Charleroi on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-22.

Waynesburg Central's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Charleroi, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Waynesburg Central will welcome Bentworth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charleroi, they will head out to take on Carmichaels at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
