Volleyball Recap: Santa Rita Comes Up Short

Santa Rita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Willcox Cowboys, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Santa Rita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Willcox, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Rita will welcome The Gregory School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Willcox, they will face off against Bisbee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
