Basketball Recap: Spruce Mountain Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Spruce Mountain rose to the challenge on Friday. They snuck past the Oceanside Mariners with a 60-56 victory. For the Phoenix, this counts as revenge for the 78-38 win the Mariners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Spruce Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Oceanside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

As of now, neither Spruce Mountain nor Oceanside have any future games scheduled.
