Baseball Recap: Pequea Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pequea Valley won the last time they faced Octorara Area and things went their way on Friday too. Pequea Valley won by a run and slipped past Octorara Area 3-2. The victory was nothing new for Pequea Valley as they're now sitting on three straight.

Logan Zynn made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over 6.2 innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Pequea Valley's success: when he posts at least ten strikeouts the team is 3-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Zynn was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Zynn wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Coleston Temple, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win got Pequea Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Octorara Area, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Pequea Valley is taking a road trip to take on Northern Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Octorara Area, they will welcome Cocalico at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
