Volleyball Game Preview: Merritt Island Mustangs vs. Bishop Moore Hornets

Sarah Niazi was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last four matchups.

Merritt Island was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive contests.

Bishop Moore not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Eustis with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bishop Moore took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-10.

Bishop Moore's win came from a few key players Merritt Island will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Arianna Delgado, who had 15 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
