Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short

Jordan-Matthews came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Seaforth Hawks, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Jordan-Matthews can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Seaforth are ranked 78th).

Jordan-Matthews dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Seaforth, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-2-1.

Jordan-Matthews has already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Graham on the 7th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Bartlett Yancey on the 6th.
