Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Superior's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Superior won the last time they faced Proctor and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans blew past the Rails 19-4. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Superior has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Proctor, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Coming up, Superior will challenge Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Proctor, they have already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Rush City on the 16th.
