Baseball Recap: Roby Comes Up Short

Roby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hermleigh Cardinals, falling 15-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Roby's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hermleigh, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Roby and Hermleigh will both be playing Rotan the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will head out to face the Yellowhammers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
