Football Game Recap: Broadway vs. Harrisonburg

After a disappointing 7 points in the matchup before, Harrisonburg made sure to put some points up on the board against Broadway on Friday. Harrisonburg made easy work of Broadway and carried off a 35-7 victory. That result was just more of the same for Harrisonburg, who also won the last time these teams played.

Harrisonburg got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Broadway and cruised to a 21-point first half. Meanwhile, Broadway couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The Harrisonburg defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped Harrisonburg's record up to 2-3. The loss dropped Broadway's record to 1-4.

Next week Harrisonburg take on Waynesboro at 4:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. As for Broadway, they will face off against Spotswood.
