Basketball Recap: Ferris Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ferris can now relate to. They fell 71-58 to the Mead Panthers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Saxons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Panthers are ranked 25th).

Ferris dropped their record down to 8-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mead, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Ferris nor Mead have any future games scheduled.
