Volleyball Recap: Vilonia Takes a Loss

Vilonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mount St. Mary Academy Belles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Belles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Vilonia's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vilonia will square off against rival Sylvan Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Beebe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
