Marvin Ridge entered their tilt with Cox Mill on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the Cox Mill Chargers as they made off with a 56-36 victory. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Cox Mill lost, don't look at Lauren Farrell. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 boards. Farrell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Spoorthi Saranu, who posted eight points and three steals.

Marvin Ridge pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Cox Mill, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-12.

Marvin Ridge has already played their next contest (against Cuthbertson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cox Mill will head out to face off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
