Baseball Game Preview: American Leadership Academy Patriots vs. Strom Thurmond Rebels

The American Leadership Academy Patriots will face off against the Strom Thurmond Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

American Leadership Academy fell victim to Saluda and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Tigers.

American Leadership Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brice Cook, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Strom Thurmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Batesburg-Leesville. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

American Leadership Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. Strom Thurmond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
