Deer Park found a leader in Hailey Thompson as the team took down North Central on Saturday. Thompson made a splash, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). It looks like she has North Central's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them on Saturday. Thompson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
