Basketball Recap: Fort Hill's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Fort Hill and Cambridge-South Dorchester squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Fort Hill had to settle for second. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings. The Sentinels were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Fort Hill moved to 15-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Cambridge-South Dorchester, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 32-2.
