Baseball Game Preview: Port Angeles Roughriders vs. North Mason Bulldogs

Port Angeles is a perfect 10-0 against North Mason since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Port Angeles Roughriders will square off against the North Mason Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m.

Port Angeles barely beat North Mason the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Port Angeles never let North Mason get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The Roughriders not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26, 2024.

Bryce DeLeon looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Nathan Basden was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Kody Williams was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

North Mason's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Port Angeles, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Port Angeles took their victory against North Mason in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Port Angeles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
