Baseball Recap: Concrete Takes a Loss

Concrete was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Orcas Island Vikings, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 last Tuesday.

Concrete's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orcas Island, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Concrete and Orcas Island will both be playing Mount Vernon Christian the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th.
