Volleyball Recap: Redfield Starts Season with Win Against Florence/Henry

Redfield had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Florence/Henry Falcons. The Pheasants have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Redfield can attribute much of their success to Katryn Evans, who had 29 digs. Those 29 digs gave Evans a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Siebrecht, who had 17 digs.

Redfield and Florence/Henry will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pheasants will challenge rival Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Florence/Henry is set to face off against their familiar foe Great Plains Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
