Basketball Recap: Rushford-Peterson Comes Up Short

Rushford-Peterson lost against Caledonia back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rushford-Peterson Trojans were dealt a 70-29 defeat at the hands of the Caledonia Warriors. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rushford-Peterson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Caledonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rushford-Peterson will host Hayfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caledonia, they will square off against La Crescent at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
