Soccer Recap: Mingus' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Mingus entered their match against Coconino on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mingus Marauders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coconino Panthers.

Mingus' goal came courtesy of Juliana Morales, who's now up to four this season.

Mingus' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2-1. As for Coconino, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mingus will challenge Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Coconino, they will take on Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
