Basketball Recap: Booker Skates Past Imagine School at North Port with Ease

Booker posted their biggest victory since February 8th on Thursday. They blew past the Imagine School at North Port Sharks 67-35. That's more bragging rights for the Tornadoes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Among those leading the charge was J.P Lattimore, who posted 17 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023. Darius Behn was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Imagine School at North Port lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordan Kirkus, who had eight points. Kirkus has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Lafortune, who put up six points.

Booker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Imagine School at North Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Booker will take on Port Charlotte in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Imagine School at North Port, they will take on Seacrest Country Day at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seacrest Country Day is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season.
