Basketball Recap: Yukon Comes Up Short

Yukon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mustang Broncos. If the Millers were looking for revenge after losing 76-56 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mustang, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yukon will challenge Stillwater at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Yukon is facing Stillwater at the right time seeing as Stillwater is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mustang, they are taking a road trip to challenge Norman North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norman North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Mustang likes a good challenge.
