The biggest upset of the week belonged to La Joya Community, who defeated 147th ranked Camelback, 23-0. Javian Roebuck ran for 143 yards in the win.

Sunnyslope added to the longest winning streak in II Section I this week by beating Tolleson, 42-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Vikings.

Sunnyslope's dynamic duo of Michael Humphrey and Tim Fryson proved to be unstoppable against the Wolverines, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Humphrey threw for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns and Fryson had 180 yards receiving. Brandon Cruz helped Sunnyslope's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 60 yards.

Damon Pieri's team's dynamic duo of Humphrey and Fryson proved tough for Tolleson to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Brandon Sellers provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Fairfax topped St. Mary's.

Fryson was the best receiver in the league this week as the Vikings topped Jason Wilke's team.

Humphrey put up the best numbers through the air as Sunnyslope beat the Wolverines.

Sellers was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 320 yards as the Stampede topped Tolleson. Kevin Webb also contributed to the rushing game with 141 yards on the ground.

Sellers was a force in the backfield as Fairfax bested the Knights.

St. Mary's' Gabe Losada and John Moser have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading II Section I in both passing and receiving yards. Losada has thrown for 956 yards this season, while Moser, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 19 catches for 316 yards. Sellers from Kevin Belcher's team leads the league in rushing with 626 yards.

The Stampede's offense has racked up 206 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Sunnyslope has allowed only 22 on the year.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Fairfax takes on the Vikings. The Stampede are currently in third, while Sunnyslope is in first.
