Softball Game Preview: North Mac Panthers vs. Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers

The North Mac Panthers will take on the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Mac is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Hillsboro, falling 12-2.

Meanwhile, Greenfield/Northwestern fell victim to Carrollton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 21-0 to the Hawks. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Greenfield/Northwestern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalynn Weller, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Greenfield/Northwestern's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-12. As for North Mac, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
