Basketball Recap: Larned Comes Up Short

Larned lost against St. John back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Larned Indians fell 42-35 to the St. John Tigers. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Larned's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for St. John, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Larned will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas More Prep-Marian at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for St. John, they will host Little River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have allowed few points on average, (St. John: 28.1, Little River: 22.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
