Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Philip Barbour). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lincoln Cougars 55-8. With the Colts ahead 27-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Philip Barbour's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cameron Bennett, who rushed for 61 yards and two TDs. Tristan Price made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Philip Barbour was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 410 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 370 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Philip Barbour didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bennett, Price, and Malachi Poling picked up one apiece. Price got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Philip Barbour's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.9 points over those games. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
