Preview: Los Angeles CES Unicorns vs. St. Joseph Academy Crusaders
The Los Angeles CES Unicorns are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders at 3:50 p.m. on December 27th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Los Angeles CES earned a 56-43 win over George Washington Prep. Given Los Angeles CES's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 304th, while George Washington Prep is ranked 624th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even though Mt. Carmel scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, St. Joseph Academy still came out on top. St. Joseph Academy had just enough and edged Mt. Carmel out 68-65.
Los Angeles CES has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for St. Joseph Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
