Baseball Recap: Great Oak Comes Up Short

Great Oak fell victim to Murrieta Mesa and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Great Oak saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Apodaca, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Great Oak's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Murrieta Mesa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

While Great Oak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
