Baseball Recap: Mullins Takes a Loss

Mullins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-2 to the Lake City Panthers.

Mullins saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Dozier, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That hit was Dozier's first of the season. Mykell Raysor was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Mullins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lake City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullins will square off against Green Sea Floyds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake City, they will take on Mullins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
