Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A District 5 this week, Citrus beat Lecanto 54-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Citrus took down the Panthers 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Forest's dynamic duo of Connor Feagle and Adam Deguzman proved tough for Lake Weir to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Feagle threw for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns and Deguzman had 109 yards receiving. Xavier Williams helped Forest's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 25 yards.
Tony James was a passing and rushing force as Gainesville defeated Vanguard.
He was 7-17 with 1 interception.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Knights' Adam Robles and Natrelle Jamerson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Robles has thrown for 1,791 yards this season, while Jamerson has 39 catches for 785 yards. James from the Hurricanes leads the league in rushing with 693 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Citrus takes on second place Gainesville. Last week, Rayburn Green's team bested Lecanto, while Gainesville beat Vanguard.

The Wildcats made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,630 from 4,993. The improvement was largely due to a 36-7 victory over the Hurricanes last week.
