Basketball Recap: Granger Christian Comes Up Short

Granger Christian lost against DeMotte Christian back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Granger Christian Knights had to suffer through a 62-21 loss at the hands of the DeMotte Christian Knights. The match marked Granger Christian's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leading DeMotte Christian to victory were Claire Bakker and Audrey DeVries. Bakker posted ten points, while DeVries went 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassie Nanninga, who had six points.

Granger Christian now has a losing record at 2-3. As for DeMotte Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bethany Christian the next time they take the court. DeMotte Christian will head out to face Bethany Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Granger Christian will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
