Brookfield East had lost four games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 5-3 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Wauwatosa West Trojans with a sharp 19-7 victory. The contest marked the Spartans' most dominant win of the season so far.

As for Wauwatosa West, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked their highest-scoring matchup to date.

For Wauwatosa West's part, Devin Townsend was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Jack Weber also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Looking ahead, Brookfield East will venture away from home to square off against Wauwatosa East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wauwatosa West, they will host Shorewood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
