Basketball Recap: Tonkawa Takes a Loss

Tonkawa lost against Morrison back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tonkawa Buccaneers fell just short of the Morrison Wildcats by a score of 34-32.

Tonkawa has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Morrison, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Tonkawa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-37 loss against Newkirk on the 31st. As for Morrison, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Morrison Wildcats face off against the Crescent Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th. Morrison is facing Crescent at the right time seeing as Crescent is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
